FEHMARN (10th - 13th May 2018)

Program
The intention is that we meet at the club on Thursday 10th May early in the morning (07:00) Pack up and drive south via the Rødby-Puttgarden ferry and stay at the Jugendherberge (Hostel) in Burg on Fehmarn where we have booked 4 x 6-Bed rooms.
We will do some pre-packing on the afternoon/evening on the 9th so if you want to make sure to avoid packing-panic on the day we leave it is a good idea to show up. (We will discuss this on the FB event as we get close to the date)
Fehmarn is a surfing-mecca in the northern part of Germany and there are spots to suit ALL from Beginner to Racer. During our stay the German SURF Festival is happening on the Südstrand on Fehmarn.
Gear
Bring your own of course OR if you do not have we will empty the club :-) You will be responsible for packing what you need (We will be there to guide of course, but check out the forecast in advance so you are somewhat prepared on which quiver to pack)
F&B (Food and Beverage)
Will be organized- and paid separately by the participants on site. Last year we went out and had a feast in German specialities (It is Asparagus season).
Breakfast is included at the Jugendherberge.
Transport
The Club will rent a huge van for gear (Could you consider co-driving it?), but we will also need cars to carry eager surfers and a roof rack is always welcome.
The Club will reimburse fuel and ferry costs for any full (with surfers) car against receipts. (You fuel up when we leave and again when we get back.)
Practical stuff
Linen and Duvets are provided at the Herberge, but you can of course also bring your sleeping bag. Oh and remember your BLUE health insurance card and your passport. Please also make sure that you have EUR in cash as not all restaurants accept plastic. There are ATMs in town though.
The signup here is binding and non-refundable, but hey you dont want to miss this trip anyhow.
