Trip #1: Varberg (3rd – 5th May 2019)
Destination
Is now confirmed and booked: 4 nice cabins close to the sea in Varberg on the western shore of Sweden. Each cabin has room for 6 people max. Please remember to bring your own bed linen and towel.
Program
We meet at the club house Friday at 1 pm sharp to pack the gear. As soon as we are ready, we leave for Sweden. Please organise yourselves if you cannot depart with the main party.
During the weekend all kiters and windsurfers go to the same surf spot and we surf as much as possible.
We will be back Sunday evening at the club house for unloading the gear van and rigging up club gear.
F&B
Will be organised by participants. A gourmet group of voluntary surfers buys food. If you are interested in contributing with some food (lunch sandwiches, cake or …), please give this info at the registration.
Gear
Members can borrow club gear but have the responsibility to rig it and check the state of the gear prior to departure, to pack it and finally to put it back in its place in the containers upon returning.
Transport
The Club will rent a huge van for the gear, which Philip will drive. We need a co-driver for him to put on the lease papers, is that maybe you?
Besides the van we go in private cars.
Price
550 kr.
Which covers all transport related costs and accomodation.
Registration
Will be through Klubmodul (linked at www.helgolandsurfers.dk). First come, first served. There are room for 24 people.
