Join us on a Fall Sunday afternoon for the end-of-season workday, combined with our very first Beach Clean-up! Signing up and joining will count as a work day. After the hard work we''ll have coffee & home-made cake by Mette altogether afterwards.
Workday projects include (but not limited to) painting areas of the containers with rust converter and fixing some boards on the deck. There will be tasks for all, but if you are the lucky owner of a power tool collection, please bring them, especially angle grinders and power drill could come in handy. Please contact Mads if you have more ideas for the afternoon.
For the Beach Clean-up, we (Therese & Sylvie) are so happpy to have Nordic Ocean Watch Denmark visiting us for the first time. NOW is an environmental collective dedicated to protecting the ocean and will help us keep our dearest Amager Strandparken awesomely blue. We’ll have one of their ocean warriors to guide us through the fine art of waste picking and plastic sorting. Also, one of their marine biologists will nerd out about plastic and fish.
